Elsagate adalah sebuah neologisme yang merujuk kepada kontroversi terkait video-video di YouTube dan YouTube Kids yang dikategorisasikan sebagai "ramah anak," namun berisi unsur-unsur yang tak layak untuk anak-anak. Kebanyakan video yang berada di bawah klasifikasi tersebut dikenal karena mengandung unsur-unsur seperti kekerasan, situasi seksual, fetish, narkoba, alkohol, penyuntikan, humor toilet dan kegiatan dan keadaan berbahaya atau berlebihan.[1]
