Drohmo (juga dikenal sebagai Drohmo Ri) adalah sebuah gunung dengan banyak puncak yang terletak di 6.881 m (22.575 ft) di Nepal Timur.

Lokasi

Drohmo terletak di pegunungan Janak di Pegunungan Nepal Timur. Puncaknya adalah 3,5 km timur laut Tengkoma, 5,4 km selatan Janak Chuli di perbatasan Nepal Cina, dan 7,8 km barat Pathibhara Chuli.[1] Selain puncak utama di 6.881 meter (22.575 ft), Drohmo juga memiliki puncak pusat di 6.855 meter (22.490 ft) dan puncak timur 6.695 meter (21.965 ft) m.Sebuah sub-puncak "Drohmo II" menjulang lebih jauh ke timur dengan di 6.559 meter (21.519 ft).

Sejarah pendakian

Drohmo pertama kali dicoba oleh tim Swiss pada tahun 1949, tetapi tidak berhasil. Hingga saat ini, belum ada yang mencapai puncak utama Drohmo. Namun, puncak pusat pertama kali didaki pada tahun 1998 oleh Doug Scott dan Roger Mear melalui pilar selatan.[2]
