DoraDora adalah album mini oleh boyband Korea Selatan, U-KISS. Ini adalah EP pertama yang dirilis setelah melakukan debut di Jepang selama 8 bulan. Album mini ini dirilis pada 25 April 2012.

Latar Belakang

Hanya setelha mereka menyelesaikan First Japan Nationwide Live Tour, untuk mempromosikan album debut Jepang, A Shared Dream. U-KISS mengumumkan telah merekam 100 lagu unutuk comeback di Korea Selatan.[1][2][3] Mereka bekerja dengan produser terkenal Kim Hyung Seok dan Brian Kim dari Zigzag Note.[4] NH Media dan U-KISS mengalami kesulitan memilih judul lagu dari album, sehingga mereka mencari bantuan dari berbagai komposer terkenal yang dapat membantu mereka dalam proses seleksi.[5] Pada 16 April 2012, management mengumumkan bahwa judul EP yang digunakan berjudul DoraDora dengan singel yang berjudul sama.[6] Penyanyi-penulis lagu Jay Park, ikut berkontribusi dalam pembuatan album ini dengan menulis lagu yang berjudul For You.[4][7][8] Seorang wakil dari NH Media menyatakan, ... ini akan menjadi rilis pertama band ini sejak menjadi sensasi K-pop internasional dan band ini bersiap-siap untuk wow para fans ....[9] Ini adalah pertama kalinya mereka bekerja dengan Kim Hyun Suk yang sebagian besar berkontribusi dalam pembuatan album ini.[8]

Rilis

Setelah 8 bulan sibuk dengan debut Jepang, U-KISS merilis album mini di Korea Selatan pada 25 April 2012 secara fisik maupun online.[4] Lagu ini dikompos oleh Kim Kiseop dengan judul Amazing dirilis satu minggu setelah perilisan album.[10] Teaser video untuk DoraDora dirilis pada 21 April 2012 yang menjadi perbincangan dunia di Twitter.[10][11]

Chart Penampilan

Pada Mei 2012, DoraDora menempati #1 di Germany German Asian Music Chart mengalahkan BigBang dengan Fantastic Baby.[14]
