Dogen.

Dogen (道元禅師, Dōgen Zenji, disebut pula Dōgen Kigen 道元希玄, atau Eihei Dōgen 永平道元, atau Koso Joyo Daishi) (19 Januari 1200—22 September 1253) adalah guru Zen Jepang yang lahir di Kyōto. Ia mendirikan perguruan Soto Zen di Jepang setelah berkelana di Tiongkok dan belajar di bawah bimbingan Rujing, seorang guru dari silsilah Caodong. Dogen mahsyur karena pemikirannya yang dihimpun dalam sejumlah buku, di antaranya Harta dari Mata Dharma yang Sejati atau Shōbōgenzō, himpunan buku sebanyak 95 jilid tentang praktik dan pencerahan Buddhis.
