Diri

Pada filosofi, diri adalah hubungan antara keberadaan sebuah individu, pengetahuannya, dan nilai-nilainya. Diri menghubungkan pengalaman kehidupan luar dan dalam seseorang.[1][2] Diri adalah seorang individual dari sudut pandang dirinya sendiri.

Neurosains

Terdapat dua area di otak yang penting dalam memproses pengetahuan diri, yaitu korteks prefrontal medial dan korteks parietal posterior.[3] Secara bersamaan, korteks singulat posterior, korteks singulat anterior dan korteks prefontal medial dianggap memberi manusia kemampuannya untuk merefleksikan diri. Korteks insular juga dianggap terlibat pada proses referensi diri.[4]
