David “Dave” Pitchforth (lahir 21 April 1965) adalah seorang insinyur ahli aerodinamika mobil F1 asal Inggris. Ia dikenal sebagai salah satu asisten dari Tony Purnell saat keduanya memimpin tim Jaguar Racing antara tahun 2003-2004.
Pitchforth merupakan alumnus dari Politeknik Huddensfield. Sebelum ia lulus, ia sudah bekerja pada sebuah perusahaan turbocharger bernama Schwitzer Europe, Ltd pada tahun 1981. Kemudian ia diangkat menjadi technical applications engineer, sebelum akhirnya lebih berkonsentrasi pada bidang turbocharger dan sistem pendinginan mobil.
Pada 1994, ia berkerja untuk Schwitzer AS, sebagai kepala bagian desain dan aplikasi kipas pendingin mesin, fan drive, validitas data, serta operasional wind tunnel dan tes rig lainnya.
Pada 1997, ia diangkat sebagai General Manager (GM) Auto Research Center (ARC). Ia menangani desain, konstruksi, dan menjalankan fasilitas R&D Reynard Motorsports di AS, serta wind tunnel seven-post rig.
Pada tahun 2000, ia diangkat sebagai Managing Director ARC Reynard Motorsport. Tugasnya adalah menangani fasilitas tes Reynard dan bisnis konsultan engineering.
Pada 2002, ia lantas dibajak oleh Ford Motor Company untuk menjadi Managing Director tim Formula 1 Jaguar Racing. Posisi ini bertahan sampai Februari 2005, ketika tim tersebut dibeli oleh Red Bull.
