Daraina adalah sebuah kota dan komune (bahasa Malagasi: kaominina) di utara Madagaskar. Kota tersebut masuk distrik Vohemar, yang merupakan bagian dari Kawasan Sava. Kota tersebut terletak di sebuah bagian dari Route Nationale 5a antara Vohemar dan Ambilobe.

Populasi komune tersebut diperkirakan berjumlah sekitar 10,000 dalam sensus komune 2001.[2]

Pendidikan tingkat dasar dan menengah tersedia di kota tersebut, Mayoritas 98% populasi komune tersebut adalah petani. Tanaman paling penting adalah padi, sementara produk penting lainnya adalah pisang, jagung, ketela pohon dan kentang. Jasa-jasa menyediakan pekerjaan untuk 2% populasi.[2]
