Cocooning

Cocooning adalah tetap berada di rumah dan tidak pergi ke luar untuk menjauhkan diri dari kemungkinan bahaya.[1][2][3] Istilah ini diciptakan pada 1981 oleh Faith Popcorn, seorang peramal tren dan konsultan pemasaran.[4] Ini digunakan dalam ilmu sosial,[5][6] pemasaran,[7] pengasuhan,[8][9] peramalan ekonomi,[10] bantuan diri,[11] agama,[12] dan telah menjadi bagian dari bahasa Inggris baku sebagaimana yang ditampilkan oleh banyak kamus.
