Haji Chovif Soneta adalah pemain gendang dan drum dari grup Soneta di bawah pimpinan Rhoma Irama yang sampai saat ini posisinya belum tergantikan oleh yang lain.[1]

Awal Bergabung dengan Soneta

Haji Chovif awalnya seorang pemain Drum di grup Band Gavilas Kalibaru - Banyuwangi Jawa Timur,[2] bersama kawannya Popong Soneta dia masuk ke grup Soneta Group dan memutuskan untuk bermain gendang menggantikan Kadir dan langsung diajak rekaman pada album Soneta Volume 6 - 135.000.000.
