Cepaea adalah sebuah genus siput darat penapas-dara besar dalam famili Helicidae. Cangkangnya umumnya berwarna cerah dengan garis-garis cokelat. Dua spesies hidup dalam genus ini, C. nemoralis dan C. hortensis, tersebar luas dan sering dijumpai di Eropa Tengah dan Barat. Di Amerika Utara, C. hortensis berasal dari pesisir timur laut, tetapi kedua spesies ini telah dikenalkan ke tempat-tempat lainnya, dan juga menyebar ke arah lebih timur di Eropa.[2] Kedua spesiesnya telah berperan sebagai spesies model bagi riset-riset mengenai genetika dan seleksi alam. Seperti anggota Helicidae lainnya, siput-siput ini menggunakan "panah cinta" (love dart) saat kawin.[3]
