CASSIOPE

CASSIOPE adalah sebuah proyek satelit dari Badan Antariksa Kanada, yang diluncurkan pada tanggal 29 September 2013 dengan penerbangan pertama dari peluncuran kendaraan SpaceX Falcon 9 v1.1.

Satelit ditempatkan dalam sebuah elips orbit polar dan membawa sistem komunikasi komersial yang disebut Cascade serta paket eksperimen ilmiah yang disebut e-POP (enhanced Polar Outflow Probe). Kombinasi ini menimbulkan ke akronim CASSIOPE, dari "Cascade, SmallSat dan ionosfer Polar Explorer".
