Boxoffice Pro adalah sebuah majalah industri film yang berfokus pada bisnis bioskop, diterbitkan oleh The Boxoffice Company (Webedia) melalui BoxOffice Media LP.

Sejarah

Majalah ini dimulai pada 1920[1] dengan nama The Reel Journal, kemudian berganti nama menjadi Boxoffice pada 1931,[2] dan masih terbit hingga kini dengan target pembaca para pemilik bioskop serta profesional film. Pada 2019, namanya diubah menjadi Boxoffice Pro.

Boxoffice Pro merupakan publikasi resmi National Association of Theatre Owners,[3] sebuah peran yang mulai dijalankan sejak 2006.[4][5] Pada 1937 majalah ini mulai menerbitkan laporan box office; sementara penerbitan ulasan film dihentikan pada 2012.[1]

Majalah ini awalnya diterbitkan setiap Sabtu oleh Associated Publications.[6] Kinerja box office dinyatakan dalam bentuk persentase dari performa normal, dengan angka normal ditetapkan sebagai 100%.[7] Edisi khusus bertajuk Barometer diterbitkan setiap Januari dengan tinjauan tahunan, termasuk performa film sepanjang tahun.[8]

Boxoffice diakuisisi oleh grup Prancis Webedia pada 2015.[9]
