Boroco (Celosia argentea) adalah adalah tanaman herba yang berasal dari daerah tropis, dan dikenal karena warnanya yang sangat cerah. Di India dan Cina dikenal sebagai gulma bermasalah.[2]

Deskripsi

Celosia argentea adalah tumbuhan tahunan yang sering ditanam di kebun. Biasanya mekar di pertengahan musim semi ke musim panas. Berkembang biak dengan biji. Bijinya sangat kecil, hingga 43.000 biji per ons.[3] Bunganya adalah hermaprodit.
