Ikan Bichir (Polypteriformes) merupakan sebuah ordo ikan bersirip kipas kuno yang hanya memilik satu famili saja, yakni Polypteridae.[2] Semua spesiesnya berasal dari perairan tawar di Afrika tropis dan sistem Sungai Nil, terutama rawa, dataran banjir dangkal, dan muara.
