Bayeh (Oncosperma horridum) adalah suatu tumbuhan dari jenis palem-paleman yang kurang bermanfaat. Di Pahang, Malaysia air rebusan akar bayeh bisa dimanfaatkan sebagai tumbuhan obat untuk demam.[2]

Di Indonesia, bayeh dikenal dengan nama bayah (Aceh), bais (Batam), bayas, bayeh (Bahasa Melayu Bangka), lamakor (Kalimantan), pinang bayeh (Bahasa Minangkabau). Karel Heyne juga menceritakan bahwa bayeh tumbuh di dataran tinggi, terutama di sepanjang aliran air. Umum di barat Nusantara.[1]
