Baljunso (ditulis sebagai BALJUNSO) adalah label indie Korea Selatan yang didirikan pada tahun 1991 oleh Kang Byung-yong, mantan direktur CAN Entertainment. Baljunso diakuisisi oleh SM Entertainment pada tahun 2014.

Sejarah

Baljunso didirikan pada tahun 1991 oleh Kang Byung-yong.

Pada tahun 2014, SM Entertainment mengakuisisi saham di Baljunso, dan label yang berafiliasi dengan SM mengadakan acara Baljunso World Wide Promotion di Hongdae pada tanggal 8 Maret, menampilkan artis seperti HLIN, Love and Peace, EZEN, dan Play the Siren. Singel debut Play the Siren adalah rilisan pertama di bawah kemitraan Baljunso-SM.[1] Menanggapi kekhawatiran atas kemitraan antara label indie dan agensi arus utama seperti SM, Kang Byung-yong menyatakan bahwa sementara tujuan Baljunso adalah untuk "menghidupkan kembali genre nonmainstream", mereka akan membangun "hubungan kerja sama yang kuat [dengan SM Entertainment] untuk distribusi nasional dan global, pemasaran, dan bisnis tambahan."[2]
