Astacus (dari bahasa Yunani αστακός, astacós, yang berarti "lobster")[1] adalah sebuah genus lobster air tawar yang yang ditemukan di Eropa. Genus ini terdiri dari tga spesies yang masih ada dan tiga spesies punah yang diperdebatkan.[2] Genus ini ditemukan di sepanjang Eropa dan hanya hidup di perairan tawar, umumnya di dasar danau, kolam dan aliran sungai.

Karena wabah lobster air tawar, lobster air tawar pada genus ini mengalami pengurangan populasi pada banyak wilayah di Eropa, tergantikan oleh lobster sinyal invasif dari Amerika Utara, yang menjadi vektor wabah tersebut, tetapi kebal terhadapnya.[3]
