Asda Stores Ltd. (/ˈæzdə/) (sering ditulis ASDA) adalah jaringan supermarket Inggris. Perusahaan ini bermarkas di Leeds, Inggris.[8] Perusahaan ini didirikan pada tahun 1949 ketika keluarga Asquith menggabungkan bisnis ritelnya dengan perusahaan Associated Dairies dari Yorkshire. Perusahaan ini berkembang ke Inggris Selatan selama tahun 1970-an dan 1980-an, dan mengakuisisi Allied Carpets, 61 Gateway Supermarket berukuran besar dan bisnis lainnya, seperti MFI Group. Asda menjual akuisisi-akuisisi tersebut selama tahun 1990-an untuk berkonsentrasi pada supermarket. Perusahaan ini terdaftar di London Stock Exchange hingga 1999 ketika diakuisisi oleh Walmart seharga £6,7 miliar. Asda adalah jaringan supermarket terbesar kedua di Inggris Raya antara tahun 2003 dan 2014 berdasarkan pangsa pasar, di mana ia jatuh ke posisi ketiga pada tahun 2014.[9][10]

Selain supermarket inti, perusahaan ini juga menawarkan bantuan untuk asuransi dan layanan pembayaran dan penyedia telepon seluler.

Pada Februari 2021, Issa bersaudara dan TDR Capital mengakuisisi Asda. Walmart mempertahankan "investasi ekuitas" di Asda, kursi di dewan direksi dan "hubungan komersial yang berkelanjutan".[11] Kesepakatan itu terjadi setelah akuisisi oleh Sainsbury's ditolak oleh Competition and Markets Authority.[6][12]
