Apepi

Apepi (juga Ipepi; bahasa Mesir ipp(i)) atau Apophis (Greek Άποφις; nama regnal Neb-Khepesh-Re, A-Qenen-Re dan A-User-Re) adalah penguasa Mesir hilir selama dinasti kelimabelas dan akhir Periode Menengah Kedua yang didominasi oleh dinasti asing ini yang disebut Hyksos.

Pemerintahan

Menurut Daftar Raja Turin, dia berkuasa di selurh bagian utara Mesir selama empat puluh tahun,[2] dan akan berkuasa semala awal pertengahan 1500-an jika dia hidup lebih lama dari saingannya dari selatan, Kamose, bukan Ahmose I.[3] Meskipun kekuasaannya hanya sebatas Mesir bagian utara, Apepi dominan di hampir seluruh Mesir selama bagian awal kekuasaannya. Dia melakukan perdagangan secara damai dengan penduduk asli, dinasti ketujuhbelas di Thebes hingga wilayah selatan.[4]
