Anglesit adalah sebuah mineral sulfat timbal dengan rumus kimia PbSO4.Anglesit dapat ditemukan sebagai produk oksidasi dari bijih sulfida timbal yaitu galena, dalam wujud kristal prismatik ortorombik atau mirip dengan batu biasa. Anglesit isomorf dengan barit dan selstin. Mineral ini mengandung 74% timbal bedasarkan massanya, sehingga memiliki massa jenis relatif yang tinggi, dengan angka 6,3. Warna anglesit ialah putih atau kelabu dengan garis-garis kuning pucat. Dalam kondisi tak murni, warnanya dapat berupa kelabu gelap.
