Aleşd (bahasa Hungaria: Élesd) adalah sebuah kota di Provinsi Bihor, bagian barat Rumania. Kota ini terletak dibagian timur dari provinsi, berdekatan dengan perbatasan Provinsi Cluj.

Aleşd terletak di jalur utama jalur kereta api antara Oradea dan Bucharest. Jalur kereta ini merupakan jalur utama bagi kereta api dan juga kereta api antar kota (intercity (IC)) dari Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest, Arad dan Timişoara.

Populasi

Aleşd berpenduduk sebesar 10.415 jiwa berdasarkan sensus tahun 2002, dengan komposisi Rumania (65.17%), Hungaria (19.07%), Rom (9.15%), Slowakia (6.19%), sisanya (0.42%).[1]. Komposisi ini termasuk juga ke dalam desa Peştiş, Tinăud, dan Pădurea-Neagră.
