Ajam
Ajam (عجم) adalah kata dari bahasa Arab yang berarti bisu, yang merujuk pada seseorang yang bahasa ibunya bukan bahasa Arab. Selama penaklukan Persia oleh Muslim, istilah ini memiliki makna penghinaan ras.[1] Dalam berbagai bahasa lain, Ajam dan Ajami berarti orang Persia.
