Aggadah

Aggadah (Aram אַגָּדָה: "kisah"; pl. aggadot atau (Ashkenazi) aggados; yang juga dikenal sebagai aggad atau aggadh atau agâdâ) merujuk kepada teks-teks eksegetikal non-legalistik dalam sastra rabbinik Yudaisme, yang sebagian besar tercatat dalam Talmud dan Midrash. Pada umumnya, Aggadah adalah sebuah wadah teks-teks rabbinik yang memasukkan cerita rakyat, anekdot sejarah, pesan moral, dan nasihat praktik dalam berbagai bidang, dari bisnis ke kedokteran.
